Ninte's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hankover the free kick. After 6 played minutes Ninte got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Opilano. If Cleto Palos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ninte's Augusto Jago played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herminio Rocio in the 9th minute of play. After 17 played minutes, Ninte's Silverio Gaztea shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Primo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ninte reached it. When Ariel Opilano came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Ninte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ariel Opilano couldn't finish the play. After 31 played minutes Hankover got a freekick which was hit by Santo Fanuco. After 32 played minutes, Ninte's Mauro Oliviero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cristobal Primo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ninte reached it. Alejo Policarpio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Florentino Piearres in the 39th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cristobal Primo saved Hankover from getting behind. In the 40th match minute, Ninte was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauro Oliviero to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute, Mauro Oliviero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleto Palos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Cleto Palos made the kick off in the second half. Ariel Opilano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Primo having to interfere. Herminio Rocio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Augusto Jago tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 59 minutes into the match, Hankover's goal looked a bit too open when Ariel Opilano came free, but Cristobal Primo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Justin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristobal Primo having to interfere. Florentino Piearres might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Primo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Piearres ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 66th minute Florentino Piearres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristobal Primo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cristobal Primo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Piearres in the 67th minute of the match. If Herminio Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Herminio Rocio in the 73rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Augusto Jago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 75 minutes into the game, Cecilio Quiroga was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hankover's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ninte the free kick. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hankover! If Herminio Rocio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cecilio Quiroga was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 89 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Hankover's Cecilio Quiroga got a free kick in the 90th minute. Florentino Piearres might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristobal Primo. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Florentino Piearres ran back to his position shaking his head. Hankover's Cristobal Primo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariel Opilano in the 97th minute of play. In the 99th minute, Florentino Piearres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
