Moises Avellaneda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Aaron Montae tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aaron Montae showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florentino Lapurdi in the 36th minute of the match. When Sergio Admon came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Pedernal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergio Admon couldn't finish the play. If Moises Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Fix made a kick off. In the 52nd minute Juan Fix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cayetano Vermudo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentino Lapurdi got free with Aaron Montae in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The attack was good, but when Florentino Lapurdi in the 67th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Moises Avellaneda, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 69 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Aaron Montae was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Juan Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Cayetano Vermudo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Moises Avellaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Pedernal's goalkeeper Aaron Montae had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Lapurdi. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Moises Avellaneda in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aaron Montae saved Pedernal from getting behind. Oscar Obeko struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Aaron Montae didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ordóñez AFC. Ordóñez AFC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Pedernal to leave the ground with a draw.
