Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romulo Arias started the match with the kick off. Luisito Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Furtado in the 4th minute of the match. Santiago Walme charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Santiago Walme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th minute, Felix Eskuin sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Palmitas's Delmar Aires didn't even have to move. Albano Restos short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Delmar Aires to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Luisito Lopez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Furtado in the 13th minute of the match. Luisito Lopez came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Palmitas's David Orkatz. But to his dismay, David Orkatz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After 25 minutes, Maximo Quinito mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Atletico Cibil and the Palmitas players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 25th minute of the match Gonzalo Raymon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luisito Lopez skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Romulo Arias managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atletico Cibil's supporters rose to their feet, but Romulo Arias was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Delmar Aires breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If David Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute, Gonzalo Raymon sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Club Atletico Cibil's Luisito Lopez didn't even have to move. Aureliano Furtado struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Luisito Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. After 38 minutes of play Palmitas's Santiago Walme was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 39th match minute, Palmitas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santiago Walme to maneuver through the defense. Delmar Aires made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Arias in the 43rd minute of play. If David Orkatz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

David Orkatz scored 0-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luisito Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Bastia in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Lopez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Romulo Arias's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Delmar Aires read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Cibil's zone, Ciriaco Bastia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Lopez came out of the goal and Ciriaco Bastia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cecilio Oliverios kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. David Orkatz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Luisito Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palmitas. When David Orkatz came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Palmitas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Orkatz couldn't finish the play. 81 minutes into the game, Edgardo Tabb was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Palmitas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Club Atletico Cibil the free kick. A collision led to Palmitas getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Edgardo Tabb hit a great ball. 83 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Cibil's Felix Eskuin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Romulo Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Delmar Aires having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palmitas's zone, Romulo Arias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Delmar Aires came out of the goal and Romulo Arias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Orkatz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisito Lopez having to interfere. Palmitas played a much better game than Club Atletico Cibil and deserved their victory. The Club Atletico Cibil players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
