An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Martino in the 4th minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper Florentino Bizen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduardo Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Amancio Erruki tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Matias Martino kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Florentino Bizen. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matias Martino in the 21st minute of play forced San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalkeeper Florentino Bizen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Eduardo Henry shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amancio Erruki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Riachuelo AFC's Matias Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Riachuelo AFC's Matias Martino in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Almagro's goalie prevented a goal. Riachuelo AFC's Amancio Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paolo Orlandus in the 34th minute of play. Eduardo Henry fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amancio Erruki having to interfere. Paolo Orlandus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st match minute, Riachuelo AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Candido Niva to maneuver through the defense. After 45 played minutes Matias Martino rounded San Lorenzo de Almagro's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0.

With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Malvin in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Florentino Bizen saved San Lorenzo de Almagro from getting behind. If Matias Martino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 58 minutes into the game, Matias Martino was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Riachuelo AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave San Lorenzo de Almagro the free kick. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo AFC's Matias Martino got a free kick in the 58th minute. Eduardo Henry was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. San Lorenzo de Almagro's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Riachuelo AFC's Amancio Erruki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Henry in the 64th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Riachuelo AFC's Candido Niva got a free kick in the 69th minute. Teofilo Cordaro got in the 70th minute a good position and tried a long shot which to a great surprise passed a very astonished Amancio Erruki. This was a shot which ended in a score of 2-1. In the 73rd minute, Matias Martino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Riachuelo AFC's Matias Martino got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hilario Quico's late challenge caught a Riachuelo AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hilario Quico helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to San Lorenzo de Almagro getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Hilario Quico hit a great ball. In the 87th minute, Genaro Fero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paolo Orlandus blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Amancio Erruki having to make a save. 93 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Almagro's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Martino came free, but Florentino Bizen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Riachuelo AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
