Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) If Everardo Claris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Orain made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Honorio Dodorol in the 9th minute of play. Higinio Dantae charged in rather forcefully in the 12th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Higinio Dantae the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Everardo Claris struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Ernesto Orain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquina FC. In the 18th minute, Cristo Irrintzi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Esquina FC's Honorio Dodorol got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ernesto Orain stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Honorio Dodorol's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After 25 played minutes Linch FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristo Irrintzi. 28 minutes into the game, Honorio Dodorol cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Ernesto Orain was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Emilio Leizarraga's late challenge caught a Esquina FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Leizarraga helped the player get up and apologised. In the 32nd match minute, Linch FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. Higinio Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Severiano Loco came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Esquina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severiano Loco couldn't finish the play. Saturnino Baumer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ernesto Orain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Linch FC's zone, Everardo Claris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Orain came out of the goal and Everardo Claris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Everardo Claris made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Cristo Irrintzi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Erasmo Fidencio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Linch FC's Ernesto Orain proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Linch FC from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edgard Oidor got free with Ernesto Orain in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Everardo Claris took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ernesto Orain. Ernesto Orain dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Dantae in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ernesto Orain saved Linch FC from getting behind. Everardo Claris could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ernesto Orain made a huge save. When Higinio Dantae was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 71 minutes had been played. A collision led to Esquina FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Higinio Dantae hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Linch FC's zone, Severiano Loco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernesto Orain came out of the goal and Severiano Loco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Everardo Claris managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Everardo Claris was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ernesto Orain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Linch FC's Ernesto Orain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saturnino Baumer in the 85th minute of play. Everardo Claris struck a weak shot in the 86th minute. Ernesto Orain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Esquina FC. 91 minutes into the match, Linch FC's goal looked a bit too open when Severiano Loco came free, but Ernesto Orain reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severiano Loco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Severiano Loco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esquina FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
