Tobias Odon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Gonza in the 6th minute of play. Aerolito's Tobias Odon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Gonza in the 8th minute of play. Ovidio Senin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Tobias Odon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Yuchán AFC booed when Aerolito was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niceto Nayely didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Yuchán AFC's Rodolfo Gonza in the 13th minute got a chance for a shot 13th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 26th minute, Baldomero Corderro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Angelino Florinio in the 33rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ubaldo Suarez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Baldomero Corderro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Ubaldo Suarez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Onofre kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Rodolfo Gonza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tobias Odon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Nicolas Chaime's late challenge caught a Yuchán AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nicolas Chaime helped the player get up and apologised. Hector Elivareo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half Yuchán AFC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The wind increased when Angelino Florinio made the kick off in the second half. Ubaldo Suarez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Corderro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 55 minutes into the match, Aerolito's goalkeeper Tobias Odon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ovidio Senin. When Ovidio Senin came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Yuchán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidio Senin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Baldomero Corderro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Aerolito's supporters rose to their feet, but Baldomero Corderro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ubaldo Suarez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roman Poncio kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Aerolito defense, Ovidio Senin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobias Odon. The Aerolito fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobias Odon should have stopped the shot. Niceto Nayely fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ubaldo Suarez having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Yuchán AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
