If Raul Aragones had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hermengildo Reno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Everardo Kismi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hermengildo Reno, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Astor Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Horado, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everardo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Aragones in the 22nd minute of play. In the 22nd match minute, C.A.Temperley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Eriz to maneuver through the defense. Raul Aragones recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 24th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Everardo Kismi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raul Aragones went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 38th minute Hermengildo Reno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Kismi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aureliano Pio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hermengildo Reno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Freire's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C.A.Temperley the free kick. After 88 played minutes Freire got a freekick which was hit by Santos Matai. After 91 played minutes Freire got a freekick which was hit by Guido Sein. After having played for 92 minutes, Aureliano Pio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C.A.Temperley 's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Pio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sergio Cilio charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sergio Cilio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Freire's Sergio Cilio got a free kick in the 96th minute. C.A.Temperley 's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
