Delmiro Gar showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 28th minute, Álvarez FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Arnulfo Osmundo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnulfo Mateo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Gar in the 31st minute of the match. Arnulfo Osmundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Arnulfo Mateo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 39 played minutes, royhe's Victor Suero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Arnulfo Mateo came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in royhe reached it. Conrado Menendo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorio Montay having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
