Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Uriel Ospin kicked off to start the match. Angel Eleazar struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Albano Hodei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Edgardo Juniors. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Placido Isaio managed to get in a good position for a shot. TOPINA F. C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Placido Isaio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Erubiel Balesio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Albano Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angel Eleazar, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Uriel Ospin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Angel Eleazar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Albano Hodei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angel Eleazar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Placido Isaio got free with Erubiel Balesio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Segundo Evangelista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Domingo Lope hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Edgardo Juniors defense, Placido Isaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erubiel Balesio. The Edgardo Juniors fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erubiel Balesio should have stopped the shot. Albano Hodei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Uriel Ospin, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Segundo Evangelista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Luis Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 53rd minute Placido Isaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erubiel Balesio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Placido Isaio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. TOPINA F. C.'s Segundo Evangelista got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raul Oso hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Edgardo Juniors's goalkeeper Erubiel Balesio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. TOPINA F. C.'s Albano Hodei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Ospin in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, TOPINA F. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Ospin came free, but Albano Hodei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Erubiel Balesio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Domingo Lope fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Edgardo Juniors's protests and gave Domingo Lope a yellow card for diving instead. Domingo Lope kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Albano Hodei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Ospin went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, TOPINA F. C.'s Albano Hodei got control of the ball when Angel Eleazar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edgardo Juniors's Erubiel Balesio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Segundo Evangelista in the 95th minute of play.
