Arnulfo Kelemen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 4thth minute, Gonzalo Sedeni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A collision led to Pilciao getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Luciano Abar hit a great ball. Arnulfo Kelemen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gonzalo Sedeni having to interfere. In the 8th minute, Mateo Dalmu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emilio Maidana's late challenge caught a Pilciao's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Emilio Maidana helped the player get up and apologised. In the 12th match minute, Pomona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emilio Maidana to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Pilciao's Claudio Ferdinand tried to score from far away in the 13th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateo Dalmu in the 15th minute of play forced Pilciao's goalkeeper Gonzalo Sedeni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arnulfo Kelemen got free with Gonzalo Sedeni in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 21 minutes into the match, Pomona's goal looked a bit too open when Feliberto Cebrian came free, but Constantino Dimo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Honorato Hibai kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Mateo Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mateo Dalmu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Gonzalo Sedeni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Pilciao's Danilo Peter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Constantino Dimo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Feliberto Cebrian made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Feliberto Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilciao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Cebrian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pomona's goalkeeper Constantino Dimo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Pomona's Honorato Hibai got a free kick in the 57th minute. If Danilo Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th minute Arnulfo Kelemen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gonzalo Sedeni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mateo Dalmu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, Pilciao's goal looked a bit too open when Mateo Dalmu came free, but Gonzalo Sedeni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Pilciao booed when Pomona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Maidana didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Danilo Peter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arnulfo Kelemen struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Gonzalo Sedeni didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pomona. Feliberto Cebrian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constantino Dimo having to interfere. In the 88th minute, Honorato Hibai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Pomona's Americo Osoro got a free kick in the 90th minute. After having played for 91 minutes, Feliberto Cebrian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pilciao's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Cebrian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 92nd match minute, Pomona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Honorato Hibai to maneuver through the defense. The Pilciao players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Pomona from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
