Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Casimiro Sidro made the kick off and thus started the match. Geronimo Pere stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Casimiro Sidro's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Casimiro Sidro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Melchor Sansone struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Felipe Avellaneda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pavón FC. Melchor Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Felipe Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geronimo Pere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Modesto Berdaitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the game, Gualterio Bernal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ostende's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pavón FC the free kick. The supporters of Pavón FC booed when Ostende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gualterio Bernal didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Pavón FC's Marcial Seber broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Melchor Sansone received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Felipe Avellaneda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Modesto Berdaitz came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Ostende fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Modesto Berdaitz couldn't finish the play. Geronimo Pere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Sidro went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Geronimo Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Sidro in the 42nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Pavón FC defense, Modesto Berdaitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Geronimo Pere. The Pavón FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Geronimo Pere should have stopped the shot.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Camilo Rodriguez was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Ostende was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonel Eyague to maneuver through the defense. Felipe Avellaneda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Melchor Sansone, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 60th minute, Gualterio Bernal fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Camilo Rodriguez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Casimiro Sidro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geronimo Pere having to interfere. Modesto Berdaitz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Geronimo Pere made a huge save. Modesto Berdaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Geronimo Pere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Ostende got a freekick which was hit by Gualterio Bernal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Melchor Sansone in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Felipe Avellaneda saved Ostende from getting behind. Geronimo Pere made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Sidro in the 91st minute of play. Pavón FC's Geronimo Pere proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Pavón FC from getting a goal against them. Marcial Oihan kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
