Leonides Toribio's late challenge caught a Ascasubi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leonides Toribio helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Infierno Rojo's Leonides Toribio got a free kick in the 11th minute. If Leonides Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teodoro Cristos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonides Toribio in the 16th minute of the match. Teodoro Cristos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Leonides Toribio in the 25th minute. Ascasubi FC's Teodoro Cristos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Lehior in the 26th minute of play. Arnaldo Senin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Lauro in the 27th minute of the match. Saturnino Lauro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnaldo Senin having to interfere. Rafael Chucho took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnaldo Senin. Arnaldo Senin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Saturnino Lauro struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Arnaldo Senin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ascasubi FC. If Leonides Toribio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Ascasubi FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Fidel Musko hit a great ball. Arnaldo Senin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Saturnino Lauro's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Ascasubi FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saturnino Lauro was the one to do the kick off. Arnaldo Senin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Chucho in the 52nd minute of play. If Victoriano Lehior had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonides Toribio in the 59th minute of play forced Ascasubi FC's goalkeeper Teodoro Cristos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victoriano Lehior took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Teodoro Cristos. Teodoro Cristos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Arnaldo Senin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rafael Chucho in the 68th minute. Rafael Chucho might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnaldo Senin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rafael Chucho ran back to his position shaking his head. Alonzo Chago's late challenge caught a Ascasubi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 72nd match minute, Infierno Rojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alonzo Chago to maneuver through the defense. Saturnino Lauro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Saturnino Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Arnaldo Senin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rafael Chucho's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnaldo Senin firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 92nd minute Leonides Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Cristos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
