Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Remedios's Fernando Udalaitz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes, Valentin Vermudo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuidate la cola and the Remedios players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes Cuidate la cola got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Vermudo. In the 6th minute, Valentin Vermudo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 8th minute, Higinio Markel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 9 minutes into the match, Remedios's Eleuterio Galo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. After 11 minutes, Urbano Costante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Remedios and the Cuidate la cola players grew even worse after the yellow card. Urbano Costante hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After 15 played minutes Remedios got a freekick which was hit by Saul Otsoko. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anacleto Resto in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Severiano Ascencio saved Remedios from getting behind. 24 minutes into the match, Remedios's Eulalio Romildo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Celipe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Remedios's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eleuterio Galo in the 27th minute. After taking down the ball on Remedios's corner Eleuterio Galo fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Martin Celipe quite easily take care of the ball. Martin Celipe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Udalaitz in the 29th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anacleto Resto during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 34th match minute, Cuidate la cola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Resto to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Fernando Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Remedios's supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Udalaitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Celipe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Anacleto Resto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Severiano Ascencio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Ascencio made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Federico Sandalio sent off a good shot on target. When Federico Sandalio came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cuidate la cola fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Federico Sandalio couldn't finish the play. Eleuterio Galo hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 52 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Federico Sandalio sped through Remedios's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Severiano Ascencio. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Anacleto Resto to make the kick off. Remedios's Severiano Ascencio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Sandalio in the 59th minute of play. Niceto Fraco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fernando Udalaitz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Martin Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Sandalio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eulalio Romildo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Martin Celipe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Eulalio Romildo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After having played for 100 minutes, Fernando Udalaitz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Remedios's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fernando Udalaitz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Romildo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 103rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Celipe having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
