Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcelo Lorencio started the match with the kick off. Saverio Ofelio went to the wrong direction when Israel Cuartio was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. The supporters of Covello AFC booed when Vichigasta FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Louis didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Alberto Orzaize fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichigasta FC's protests and gave Alberto Orzaize a yellow card for diving instead. In the 16th minute, Jose Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Saverio Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silverio Soter, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Marcelo Lorencio struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Bonifacio Fiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vichigasta FC. In the 25th minute, Jose Sanchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silverio Soter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Saverio Ofelio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Silverio Soter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silverio Soter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Silverio Soter to make the kick off. If Jose Sanchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silverio Soter in the 57th minute of play forced Vichigasta FC's goalkeeper Saverio Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the match, Silverio Soter notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vichigasta FC's Saverio Ofelio. Saverio Ofelio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Silverio Soter in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Saverio Ofelio saved Vichigasta FC from getting behind. After 70 minutes, Israel Cuartio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Covello AFC and the Vichigasta FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. If Federico Sugoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bonifacio Fiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Sugoi in the 73rd minute of the match. When Natalio Abreu fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vichigasta FC's protests and gave Natalio Abreu a yellow card for diving instead. Natalio Abreu kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Vichigasta FC's Federico Sugoi got a free kick in the 79th minute. Silverio Soter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Saverio Ofelio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Silverio Soter managed to get in a good position for a shot. Covello AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silverio Soter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Saverio Ofelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
