Adolfo Columbo made a fantastic save in the 10th minute, when Tomas Vellito sent off a good shot on target. Ramon Txomin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Blas Gauargi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. 20 minutes into the match, Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Adolfo Columbo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tomas Vellito. Angelino Normando recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Vellito had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Tobatirenda's goalkeeper Adolfo Columbo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Angelino Normando received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Ramon Txomin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Columbo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Vellito in the 41st minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The wind increased when German Cesaro made the kick off in the second half. If Angelino Normando had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Angelino Normando who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Ramon Txomin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Adolfo Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Cesaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leo Jakue in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ramon Txomin, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Rueda AFC's zone, Angelino Normando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Txomin came out of the goal and Angelino Normando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Tomas Vellito came up free with the goalie in the 67th minute, the Rueda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Vellito couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Tomas Vellito's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Adolfo Columbo was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Tobatirenda's Gaudencio Dacio got a free kick in the 76th minute. Tomas Vellito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tobatirenda's Adolfo Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Vellito in the 85th minute of play.
