In the 5th minute, Clodoveo Gutierrez made a precise shot to the right of Celedonio Manni. Azampay FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Celedonio Manni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Gutierrez, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Severiano Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Columbo having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Amadeo Medina had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celedonio Manni. Azampay FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amadeo Medina was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 37th minute Clodoveo Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Manni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Ferdinand fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Columbo having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Clodoveo Gutierrez to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severiano Ferdinand in the 54th minute of play forced MRG champions's goalkeeper Martin Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, MRG champions's Efrain Aurken got a free kick in the 55th minute. MRG champions's Martin Columbo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severiano Ferdinand in the 56th minute of play. If Severiano Ferdinand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 66 played minutes MRG champions got a freekick which was hit by Aristides Galeno. In the 67th minute of the match Constantino Ireno shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Martin Columbo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Severiano Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Severiano Ferdinand's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martin Columbo was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. Rodrigo Evarado's late challenge caught a Azampay FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Evarado helped the player get up and apologised. Severiano Ferdinand scored 3-2 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Martin Columbo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vinicio Asteri's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Columbo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Amadeo Medina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Manni having to interfere. Vinicio Asteri received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Martin Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alfonso Hodei during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 88 played minutes Azampay FC got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Hodei. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Gutierrez in the 89th minute of play forced Azampay FC's goalkeeper Celedonio Manni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vinicio Asteri took the ball and in the 97 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Columbo. Martin Columbo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Azampay FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
