Rigoberto Hitz started the match with the kick off. When MRG champions's Clodoveo Gutierrez in the 10th minute got a chance for a shot 10th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alfonso Isaio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Martin Columbo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rigoberto Hitz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rigoberto Hitz struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Martin Columbo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Andalgalá. Martin Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MRG champions's Amadeo Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

After having played for 53 minutes, Clodoveo Gutierrez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MRG champions's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clodoveo Gutierrez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Andalgalá's Alfonso Isaio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Martin Columbo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rigoberto Hitz in the 62nd minute of play forced MRG champions's goalkeeper Martin Columbo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd match minute, MRG champions was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Berenguer to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 66 minutes, Alfonso Isaio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Andalgalá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfonso Isaio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfonso Isaio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Columbo having to interfere. Martin Columbo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rigoberto Hitz, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Martin Columbo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rigoberto Hitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Amadeo Medina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Alfredo Izotz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amadeo Medina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 80th minute, but Martin Columbo got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving MRG champions hanging dry this time. Alfonso Isaio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Martin Columbo made a huge save. Alfonso Isaio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Cesar Unai put in a rough tackle. After 92 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for MRG champions! The Andalgalá players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
