Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Clodoveo Incendio kicked off to start the match. 9 minutes into the match, Carmen's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Normando came free, but Simon Eli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Clodoveo Incendio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carmen's supporters rose to their feet, but Clodoveo Incendio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amadeo Tolino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilfredo Rafel came free with the goalkeeper in the 18th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Amadeo Tolino could save by the left post. Through an outstanding action, after 19 minutes, Amadeo Tolino successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Carmen booed when Guzmán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hipolito Walme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clodoveo Incendio might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amadeo Tolino. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Clodoveo Incendio ran back to his position shaking his head. Simon Eli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feliberto Santikurtz, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Clodoveo Incendio did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Amadeo Tolino 34 minutes into the match. When Roberto Normando came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Guzmán AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Normando couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
Tomas Jakes charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tomas Jakes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Guzmán AFC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carmen.
