Isidro Salbatore's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 23rdth minute, Florencio Domenec skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Abancens in the 26th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Benigno Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27thth minute of the game Emiliano Abancens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Independiente's Benigno Fagondo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emiliano Abancens in the 32nd minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Benigno Fagondo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Isidro Salbatore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Florencio Domenec having to interfere. Berna's Florencio Domenec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Berna from getting a goal against them.

When Emiliano Abancens came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Berna fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Abancens couldn't finish the play.
