Huergo AFC's Cayetano Ferman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guillermo Salomone in the 16th minute of play. Alejo Abajas scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cayetano Ferman, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some careless play in the Huergo AFC defense, Guillermo Salomone kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cayetano Ferman. The Huergo AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cayetano Ferman should have stopped the shot. Ulises Lleir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonel Jobo made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Huergo AFC's Vicente Gonchan got a free kick in the 53rd minute. If Alejo Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Vicente Gonchan was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 70 minutes had been played. Cayetano Ferman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Salomone in the 72nd minute. After having played for 76 minutes, Ulises Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Huergo AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ulises Lleir was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Leo Chaime's late challenge caught a Ham FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leo Chaime helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Ham FC booed when Huergo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position.
