Teodosio Kaiet made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Filiberto Taurino sent off a good shot on target. Casimiro Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Paulin in the 7th minute of play. After 11 minutes, Gilberto Bento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Almagro FC and the RacingClub players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Almagro FC's Gilberto Bento got a free kick in the 11th minute. Casimiro Karlo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Celestino Paulin in the 12th minute of play. Ezequiel Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Casimiro Karlo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Celestino Paulin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casimiro Karlo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Almagro FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ezequiel Lopes came free, but Casimiro Karlo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Lopes took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Casimiro Karlo. Casimiro Karlo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 30th match minute, Almagro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Taurino to maneuver through the defense. If Gilberto Bento had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 36 minutes of play, Almagro FC's Filiberto Taurino made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Teodosio Kaiet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice moves Filiberto Taurino could shoot a difficult shot in the 40th minute, which Teodosio Kaiet however easily saved by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Lopes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casimiro Karlo. Almagro FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Lopes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2.

The wind increased when Gilberto Bento made the kick off in the second half. Almagro FC's Filiberto Taurino got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ezequiel Lopes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Karlo having to interfere. Celestino Paulin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Casimiro Karlo having to make a save. In the 59th minute, Enzo Chuse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. RacingClub's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jesus Acosta in the 62nd minute. When Angel Lauro fell near the penalty area in the 64th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RacingClub's protests and gave Angel Lauro a yellow card for diving instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gilberto Bento in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Teodosio Kaiet saved RacingClub from getting behind. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind RacingClub's goalkeeper Teodosio Kaiet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Celestino Paulin scored 1-3 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Casimiro Karlo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 79 played minutes Almagro FC got a freekick which was hit by Enzo Chuse. Celestino Paulin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Casimiro Karlo having to interfere. After 83 played minutes RacingClub got a freekick which was hit by Joel Cristofol. Gilberto Bento struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Teodosio Kaiet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Almagro FC. In the 92nd match minute, Almagro FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enzo Chuse to maneuver through the defense. Casimiro Karlo made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Celestino Paulin sent off a good shot on target. In the 97th minute Filiberto Taurino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodosio Kaiet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched RacingClub eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
