Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Delmar Otsando got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodosio Senen in the 4th minute of play forced Larsen's goalkeeper Hernan Endura to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fernando Colon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Santamarina's zone, Delmar Otsando stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guido Lohitzun came out of the goal and Delmar Otsando tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fernando Colon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Guido Lohitzun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 17 played minutes Santamarina got a freekick which was hit by Alfonso Quilo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Delmar Otsando in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guido Lohitzun saved Santamarina from getting behind. Hernan Endura took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Orlanda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Santamarina's Guido Lohitzun got control of the ball when Fernando Colon tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Teodosio Senen came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Santamarina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teodosio Senen couldn't finish the play. Anselmo Lain kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Hernan Endura showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severiano Orlanda, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Delmar Otsando kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guido Lohitzun. That made the score 1-0 in the 33 minute of play. When Delmar Otsando came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Larsen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Delmar Otsando couldn't finish the play. Santamarina's Guido Lohitzun proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Santamarina from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Teodosio Senen to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Fernando Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guido Lohitzun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernando Colon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After recieving a nice pass, Larsen's Baldomero Gilen tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 77thth minute of the game Fernando Colon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Santamarina's Guido Lohitzun was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delmar Otsando struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Guido Lohitzun didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Larsen. If Fernando Colon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hernan Endura came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Santamarina's Severiano Orlanda. But to his dismay, Severiano Orlanda quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1.
