Perón AFC's Fabricio Urtungo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Perón AFC from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Aznaro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Gasteiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 26th minute Cornelio Alonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 44 minutes into the game, when Augusto Hug put in a rough tackle. After 44 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Escobar AFC! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelino Izel to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Perón AFC's Nicanor Odilon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ricardo Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 66th minute Nicanor Odilon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardo Aznaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelino Izel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Aureliano Guillem fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Aznaro having to interfere. If Nicanor Odilon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ricardo Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicanor Odilon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cornelio Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ricardo Aznaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A well placed Nicanor Odilon short distance shot in the 93rd minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. The Escobar AFC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Perón AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Perón AFC.
