In the 11th minute, Gustavo Polentzi made a precise shot to the right of Prospero Ofelio. Carcarañá's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The supporters of Focas United CA booed when Carcarañá was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enrique Eder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcelino Maura in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prospero Ofelio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Enrique Eder came up free with the goalie in the 19th minute, the Carcarañá fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Eder couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Marcelino Maura managed to get in a good position for a shot. Focas United CA's supporters rose to their feet, but Marcelino Maura was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prospero Ofelio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcelino Maura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute, Enrique Eder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Prospero Ofelio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustavo Polentzi in the 27th minute of the match. 28 minutes into the match, Carcarañá's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo Polentzi came free, but Prospero Ofelio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Ofelio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After having played for 41 minutes, Enrique Eder managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carcarañá's supporters crossed their fingers, but Enrique Eder was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustavo Polentzi in the 63rd minute of play forced Carcarañá's goalkeeper Prospero Ofelio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Marcelino Maura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Prospero Ofelio successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. After having played for 71 minutes, Gustavo Polentzi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Focas United CA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustavo Polentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 74 minutes of play, Focas United CA's Venancio Janpier made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Prospero Ofelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the last second Prospero Ofelio throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gustavo Polentzi in the 77thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Marcelino Maura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 83 minutes into the game, Gustavo Polentzi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Prospero Ofelio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Carcarañá defense, Marcelino Maura kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Ofelio. The Carcarañá fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Ofelio should have stopped the shot. Prospero Ofelio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Polentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
