If Alvaro Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Focas United CA's zone, Alvaro Jerano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Ferrer came out of the goal and Alvaro Jerano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Clodoveo Sanchez got free with Denis Ferrer in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Menendo in the 36th minute of play forced Focas United CA's goalkeeper Denis Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Ferrer didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hinojo's Clodoveo Sanchez shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 3-1 in the ordered_time% minute. Denis Ferrer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Jerano in the 47th minute of play. Venancio Janpier kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Jerano in the 49th minute of play forced Focas United CA's goalkeeper Denis Ferrer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The supporters of Focas United CA booed when Hinojo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amancio Seber didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Hinojo's Francisco Restu got control of the ball when Marcelino Maura tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcelino Maura received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Francisco Restu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Clodoveo Sanchez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th match minute, Hinojo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Menendo to maneuver through the defense. Focas United CA's Denis Ferrer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvaro Jerano in the 82nd minute of play. Hinojo's Amancio Seber got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Focas United CA players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Hinojo.
