The Zapala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 19 minutes into the match, Fraga AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Edelmiro Gumaro came free, but Basilio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Basilio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edelmiro Gumaro, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Marz in the 27th minute of play forced Fraga AFC's goalkeeper Basilio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fraga AFC's zone, Edelmiro Gumaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Basilio Lauaxeta came out of the goal and Edelmiro Gumaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Basilio Lauaxeta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Gumaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Urbasa got free with Inocencio Ticho in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Basilio Lauaxeta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Edelmiro Gumaro went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Celedonio Urbasa got free with Inocencio Ticho in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot by Ulises Maiorga from long distance, 43 minutes into the match, got Inocencio Ticho's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 46th match minute, Zapala was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Prudencio Berbiz to maneuver through the defense. The Fraga AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Zapala were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edelmiro Gumaro was the one to do the kick off. Zapala's Inocencio Ticho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulino Oto in the 67th minute of play. Teodoro Marz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 72 minutes into the match, Fraga AFC's goalkeeper Basilio Lauaxeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Teodoro Marz. Celedonio Urbasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
