Rosendo Pueblo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 35th minute Godfredo Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilberto Caradaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esteve Blanco's late challenge caught a octama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Esteve Blanco helped the player get up and apologised. Esteve Blanco hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. In the 42nd match minute, octama was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnulfo Timo to maneuver through the defense. After 46 minutes octama's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteve Blanco who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Esteve Blanco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilberto Caradaro quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After a rather tough play, octama's Froilan Oliverio got a free kick in the 55th minute. The supporters of Segurola booed when octama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Garcia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hernan Primeiro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rosendo Pueblo came out and tried to block the shot, but Hernan Primeiro slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 95th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Segurola fans cheered their team off the field, for while octama had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
