Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Diego Oro made the kick off which started today's match. The supporters of Rodriguez booed when Tucumanao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Inocencio Sandalio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodriguez's Edelmiro Ferrer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 4th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Tucumanao. Aldo Calisto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Diego Oro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alejo Salamon was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. When Leon Arotza fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rodriguez's protests and gave Leon Arotza a yellow card for diving instead. In the 18th minute of the match Guillermo Arias shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alejo Salamon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Celestino Estevon hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rodriguez's zone, Diego Oro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alejo Salamon came out of the goal and Diego Oro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Aldo Calisto struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Cristo Gimenez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rodriguez. If Diego Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Oro in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alejo Salamon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristo Gimenez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aldo Calisto in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the match, Tucumanao's goal looked a bit too open when Aldo Calisto came free, but Cristo Gimenez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Ixaka kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Tucumanao's Albano Taurino was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 45th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.
The wind increased when Aldo Calisto made the kick off in the second half. Alejo Salamon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Taurino in the 53rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tucumanao's zone, Abel Transito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristo Gimenez came out of the goal and Abel Transito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Albano Taurino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tucumanao's Cristo Gimenez got control of the ball when Abel Transito tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 73 played minutes Tucumanao got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Sandalio. 74 minutes into the game, one of Tucumanao:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Rodriguez a penalty, 77 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edelmiro Ferrer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Tucumanao's Cristo Gimenez. 1-1. Alejo Salamon came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by Tucumanao's Albano Taurino. But to his dismay, Albano Taurino quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When Albano Taurino came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Tucumanao fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albano Taurino couldn't finish the play. Aldo Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Cristo Gimenez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Tucumanao had won after a very even match.
