Angelino Santiago breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Club Atlético Lanús! Angelino Santiago had in the 69thth minute some difficulties stopping Primitivo Fernanco's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. The Club Atlético Lanús fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Real Academia were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
