Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Ubaldo Ulizes struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Apolo Fertus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Unión AFC. Elvio Adrio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Apolo Fertus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. The Sunchal AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Unión AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
