The audience thought a goal was coming when Enzo Eneko got free with Humberto Bernal in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 4 minutes into the match, Balbastro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Uhin came free, but Humberto Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Narciso Paskal fell near the penalty area in the 6th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balbastro AFC's protests and gave Narciso Paskal a yellow card for diving instead. Narciso Paskal kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Teobaldo Eztebe sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Humberto Bernal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Teobaldo Eztebe this time. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Isusko in the 11th minute of play forced Caspalá's goalkeeper Jairo Loiola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Benedicto Vachon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 17 minutes into the match, Balbastro AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Venancio Uhin came free, but Humberto Bernal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Julio Palos during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Caspalá booed when Balbastro AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Tabby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caspalá's Teobaldo Eztebe couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Balbastro AFC. Venancio Uhin received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Humberto Bernal came out and tried to block the shot, but Venancio Uhin slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 27th minute. After having played for 32 minutes, Leon Isusko managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balbastro AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Isusko was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, Caspalá's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Rumaldo came free, but Jairo Loiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 39 minutes into the game, Balbastro AFC's Leon Isusko nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jairo Loiola made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Caspalá's zone, Leon Isusko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Loiola came out of the goal and Leon Isusko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Venancio Uhin to make the kick off. After 53 played minutes Balbastro AFC got a freekick which was hit by Julio Palos. Narciso Paskal hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the game, Leon Isusko lined in a short shot 1-2 behind a frustrated Jairo Loiola. Leon Isusko fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jairo Loiola having to interfere. In the 72nd minute, Baldomero Rumaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 74 minutes into the game, Leon Isusko recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jairo Loiola. Leon Isusko showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. 80 minutes into the match, Caspalá's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Rumaldo came free, but Jairo Loiola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fausto Unax's late challenge caught a Balbastro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fausto Unax helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Caspalá getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Fausto Unax hit a great ball. In the 86th minute, Balbastro AFC's Baldomero Rumaldo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jairo Loiola. Jairo Loiola yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. After a defensive mix-up in Caspalá's zone, Baldomero Rumaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jairo Loiola came out of the goal and Baldomero Rumaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Baldomero Rumaldo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leon Isusko struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Jairo Loiola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Balbastro AFC.
