Miguel Segio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Urbes having to interfere. Fabricio Bide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ezequiel Lander having to interfere. 0-1 became the score in the 19th minute when Maximo Erasto elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Álamos FC's zone, Miguel Segio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Urbes came out of the goal and Miguel Segio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Segio in the 32nd minute of play forced Álamos FC's goalkeeper Iker Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelino Ferdinands short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Ezequiel Lander to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 37th minute Angelino Ferdinand shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ezequiel Lander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Miguel Segio notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Álamos FC's Iker Urbes. Iker Urbes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Marcelino Navarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Erasto in the 56th minute of play forced Álamos FC's goalkeeper Iker Urbes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iker Urbes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maximo Erasto in the 60th minute of play. Iker Urbes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maximo Erasto in the 64th minute of the match. Maximo Erasto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Iker Urbes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Andrade's Gabriel Escobar got a free kick in the 79th minute. Angelino Ferdinand's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ezequiel Lander read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 81st minute of play. Angelino Ferdinand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite this Iker Urbes quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Maximo Erasto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Andrade's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximo Erasto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Urbes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
