Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Victoriano Danel started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute, Andres Bela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Salvador Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Cleto Leizarraga hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ceres's Ildefonso Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baldomiro Cordarrel in the 11th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ceres's zone, Vladimiro Matthew stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ildefonso Eder came out of the goal and Vladimiro Matthew tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Saladillo AFC booed when Ceres was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andres Bela didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baldomiro Cordarrel in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ildefonso Eder saved Ceres from getting behind. In the 16th minute Baldomiro Cordarrel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ildefonso Eder saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 18 minutes into the match, Baldomiro Cordarrel notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Ceres's Ildefonso Eder. Ildefonso Eder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 21st minute Victoriano Danel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Salvador Salvidor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Victoriano Danel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anibal Urtzi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Salvador Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Silvano Millan during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Ceres booed when Saladillo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvano Millan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Iker Resto, 30 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Salvador Salvidor was a little too slow when Victoriano Danel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 2-1. After 34 played minutes Ceres got a freekick which was hit by Cayetano Mitxel. Ildefonso Eder showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vladimiro Matthew, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Anibal Urtzis short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Salvador Salvidor to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 40th play minutes Anibal Urtzi shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Salvador Salvidor and just under the crossbar into goal. Victoriano Danel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Salvador Salvidor having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baldomiro Cordarrel made a kick off. Victoriano Danel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Salvador Salvidor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvano Millan kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. When Anibal Urtzi, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 53 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Salvador Salvidor was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Andres Bela kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Ceres's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomiro Cordarrel came free, but Ildefonso Eder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Victoriano Danel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Salvador Salvidor was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. Victoriano Danel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 65 minutes into the match, Vladimiro Matthew had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ildefonso Eder. Ceres's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vladimiro Matthew was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-2. Salvador Salvidor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Danel in the 70th minute of the match. Salvador Salvidor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anibal Urtzi went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. When Ceres's Victoriano Danel in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Saladillo AFC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 90th minute, Artemio Chaime hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salvador Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anibal Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Ceres walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
