In the 4th minute, Gandofi's Alfredo Mateo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alejo Joey during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 11th minute, Alejo Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Herminio Ledesma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Bittor in the 13th minute of the match. Herminio Ledesma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Patxi in the 21st minute of play. After 22 played minutes Coni AFC got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Gonzalez. Coni AFC's Dalmacio Urbasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Coni AFC from getting a goal against them. Dalmacio Urbasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfredo Mateo in the 31st minute of play. Dalmacio Urbasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alfredo Mateo went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Alfredo Mateo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Dalmacio Urbasa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Norberto Patxi to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Jaunti in the 51st minute of play forced Coni AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Urbasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee ordered Alejo Joey off the ground. Alejo Joey hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Alfredo Mateo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmacio Urbasa having to interfere. After some careless play in the Coni AFC defense, Alfredo Mateo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dalmacio Urbasa. The Coni AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dalmacio Urbasa should have stopped the shot. Eulalio Beti's late challenge caught a Coni AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eulalio Beti helped the player get up and apologised. In the 73rd match minute, Gandofi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Beti to maneuver through the defense. 74 minutes into the game, Marcelo Bittor cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Herminio Ledesma was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Alfredo Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 82 minutes, Marcelo Bittor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coni AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcelo Bittor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Generoso Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Herminio Ledesma made a huge save. In the 87th minute the ball was on its way in behind Coni AFC's goalkeeper Dalmacio Urbasa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 90 minutes, Alfredo Mateo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gandofi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alfredo Mateo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gandofi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
