The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Aquiles Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Harkaitz having to interfere. Anselmo Ebardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Meestoymeando FC's Cosme Belarmo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Meestoymeando FC from getting a goal against them. When Bernardo Hats fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester Junior's protests and gave Bernardo Hats a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th match minute, Manchester Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Hats to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Harkaitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Ebardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With an all-out effort, Manchester Junior's Cosme Belarmo threw himself towards the right post 16 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jonathan Kimetz, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Cosme Belarmo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Kimetz in the 18th minute of the match. Celedonio Viator hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anselmo Ebardo in the 32nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Harkaitz saved Manchester Junior from getting behind. After some careless play in the Manchester Junior defense, Dante Deunoro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fausto Harkaitz. The Manchester Junior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fausto Harkaitz should have stopped the shot. Manchester Junior's Fausto Harkaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Ebardo in the 43rd minute of play. Prudencio Froylan in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Cosme Belarmo, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Cosme Belarmo was a little too slow when Jonathan Kimetz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 47th minute. The score was now 1-2. The Manchester Junior players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Meestoymeando FC were winning 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Hernando stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cosme Belarmo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Prudencio Froylan's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Meestoymeando FC's Aquiles Hernando got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manchester Junior's Fausto Harkaitz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Manchester Junior from getting a goal against them. Cosme Belarmo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Manchester Junior's Prudencio Froylan. But to his dismay, Prudencio Froylan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. In the 76th match minute, Manchester Junior was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Viator to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aquiles Hernando in the 82nd minute of play forced Manchester Junior's goalkeeper Fausto Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fausto Harkaitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aquiles Hernando in the 83rd minute of the match. Bruno Iraido charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruno Iraido the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bruno Iraido hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. The supporters of Manchester Junior booed when Meestoymeando FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Deunoro didn't get a good kick on the ball. During the 88th minute of the match Bernardo Hats completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Bernardo Hats a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Cosme Belarmo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prudencio Froylan in the 97th minute of play.
