But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dante Deunoro couldn't finish the play. After 5th play minutes Victorio Mikolas shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Cosme Belarmo and just under the crossbar into goal. 8 minutes in the game, Anselmo Ebardo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Froilan Fertus having to interfere. Cosme Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. The supporters of Meestoymeando FC booed when Saavedra AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jaime Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Anselmo Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Fertus having to interfere. Cristobal Oidor hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Cosme Belarmo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victorio Mikolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Victorio Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cosme Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, Pastor Gabon notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Meestoymeando FC's Cosme Belarmo. Cosme Belarmo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Mikolas in the 32nd minute of play forced Meestoymeando FC's goalkeeper Cosme Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Meestoymeando FC's goalkeeper Cosme Belarmo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 46 minutes into the match, Meestoymeando FC's Aquiles Hernando sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Froilan Fertus narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Saavedra AFC getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Ulises Ordono hit a great ball. Aquiles Hernando fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Froilan Fertus having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Aquiles Hernando made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Meestoymeando FC's Amado Viviano got a free kick in the 58th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victorio Mikolas in the 61st minute of play forced Meestoymeando FC's goalkeeper Cosme Belarmo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Victorio Mikolas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cosme Belarmo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Pastor Gabon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cosme Belarmo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. Jorge Abancens kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Froilan Fertus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Ebardo in the 77th minute of play. Saavedra AFC's Pastor Gabon got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Saavedra AFC's Edelmiro Ramond got a free kick in the 89th minute. Anselmo Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Froilan Fertus tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pastor Gabon came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Saavedra AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Gabon couldn't finish the play. Amado Viviano hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. When the match was over Saavedra AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Meestoymeando FC throughout the match.
