Severiano Oriol hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ruben Oskitz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Dantae, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Serafin Dantae sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Jeremias Eleder managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Manantiales AFC's Ruben Frascuelo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 26th minute, Teo Ursino hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Manantiales AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Aristides Eneas came free, but Ruben Oskitz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafin Dantae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ruben Oskitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Oskitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aristides Eneas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Eneas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Oskitz having to interfere. Aristides Eneas might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ruben Oskitz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aristides Eneas ran back to his position shaking his head. Serafin Dantae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Manantiales AFC booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomas Rey didn't get a good kick on the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Serafin Dantae to strike the kick off in the second half. Ruben Oskitz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Dantae in the 52nd minute of the match. If Adan Firman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ruben Frascuelo came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Manantiales AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruben Frascuelo couldn't finish the play. Manantiales AFC's Ruben Oskitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serafin Dantae in the 61st minute of play. Serafin Dantae fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Oskitz having to interfere. Aristides Eneas struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Ruben Oskitz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Avellaneda. The supporters of Manantiales AFC booed when Avellaneda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Oihenarte didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Avellaneda's Serafin Dantae in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Avellaneda walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
