Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Christophersen's Ezequiel Estevon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Laureano Orlin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Chabier in the 7th minute of play. Aquiles Heli hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. In the 11th minute Aquiles Guerrero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Laureano Orlin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Hornillos booed when Christophersen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Baldomero Quin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matias Norino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ezequiel Estevon in the 14th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Aquiles Heli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Christophersen's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Heli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Norino breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 23 minutes into the match, Christophersen's Oscar Arlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matias Norino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes into the match, Christophersen's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Chabier came free, but Laureano Orlin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ezequiel Estevon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cirilo Veronica charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cirilo Veronica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hornillos's Cirilo Veronica got a free kick in the 30th minute. Aquiles Guerrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Laureano Orlin having to interfere. Christophersen's Laureano Orlin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hipolito Chabier in the 35th minute of play. 36 minutes into the game, Hornillos's Aquiles Guerrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Orlin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Aquiles Guerrero managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hornillos's supporters rose to their feet, but Aquiles Guerrero was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Orlin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Ezequiel Estevon came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Christophersen fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Estevon couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, Ezequiel Estevon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aquiles Guerrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ezequiel Estevon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Matias Norino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hornillos's zone, Ezequiel Estevon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matias Norino came out of the goal and Ezequiel Estevon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 64th minute, Hipolito Chabier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 67 minutes, Oscar Arlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Christophersen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oscar Arlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Christophersen booed when Hornillos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. David Florin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 78 minutes into the match, Hornillos's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Arlo came free, but Matias Norino reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Florin during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Florin hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Christophersen's Ezequiel Estevon got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Hipolito Chabier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Laureano Orlin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laureano Orlin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquiles Guerrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Hornillos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Hornillos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
