The long shot by Ildefonso Precioso in the 17th minute really tested Dario Walme's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 20th minute, Benjamin Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Anzoátegui's Honorio Vistruario got a free kick in the 28th minute. Dario Walme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Severino Rio in the 29th minute of play. Anzoátegui's Dario Walme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Severino Rio in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Anzoátegui's goalkeeper Dario Walme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Benito Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Dario Walme made a huge save. After 42 minutes Rescate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julian Madaleno who took care of the corner kick. Tadeo Castulo took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jaime Abajas. Jaime Abajas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Dario Walme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. If Benito Arce had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
