Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Aquiles Ler kicked off to start the match. After 7 played minutes Nepes AFC got a freekick which was hit by Epifanio Naike. Mercedes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Prospero Tulio in the 10th minute. A nice corner shot did that Prospero Tulio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Filomeno Esiquio quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Aquiles Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 14th minute, Eloy Txilar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eloy Txilar's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filomeno Esiquio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Aquiles Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Filomeno Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filomeno Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A collision led to Nepes AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Severino Bilbo hit a great ball. Filomeno Esiquio acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 25th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Prospero Tulio. Silvestre Virila fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolas Mino having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Oxel in the 30th minute of play forced Mercedes's goalkeeper Nicolas Mino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Filomeno Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Txilar in the 32nd minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Severino Bilbo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 36 minutes, Luis Oxel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nepes AFC and the Mercedes players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Mercedes booed when Nepes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luis Oxel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Mino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Silvestre Virila, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st match minute, Nepes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cayetano Blai to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nepes AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Prospero Tulio was slow to take the kick. During this time Mercedes's players had a chance to rest. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Luis Oxel to strike the kick off in the second half. Filomeno Esiquio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aquiles Ler, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Domingo Oinatz hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Luis Oxel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mercedes's goalkeeper Nicolas Mino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eloy Txilar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Filomeno Esiquio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. If Aquiles Ler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Saul Crescencio fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mercedes's protests and gave Saul Crescencio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Mercedes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Crescencio to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the match, Nepes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Txilar came free, but Filomeno Esiquio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aquiles Ler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Filomeno Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nepes AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
