In the 9th match minute, Vicentini was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Matxin to maneuver through the defense. Vicentini's Eustacio Ortzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaudencio Millano in the 12th minute of play. Marcos Chucho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domingos Vasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. Vicente Peio hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. Marcos Chucho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Domingos Vasco's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Guido Restu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eustacio Ortzi having to interfere. Gaudencio Millano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The Vicentini fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustacio Ortzi should have stopped the shot. Guido Restu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eustacio Ortzi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. When Domingos Vasco came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vicentini fans jumped to their feet.
