Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jacobo Osoro took the kick off in the first half of the match. Placido Cordario took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Severiano Gaitano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Guaberto Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cordario having to interfere. Guaberto Velasco might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Placido Cordario. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Guaberto Velasco ran back to his position shaking his head. Protestante's Severiano Gaitano got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 17th minute, Severiano Gaitano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Placido Cordario was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Guaberto Velasco struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Placido Cordario didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Protestante. In the 23rd minute Severiano Gaitano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Placido Cordario saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Dixonville FC's goal looked a bit too open when Guaberto Velasco came free, but Placido Cordario reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Modesto Ramond could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Cipriano Meder made a huge save. Cipriano Meder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Osoro in the 28th minute of the match. Guaberto Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cordario having to interfere. Guaberto Velasco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Placido Cordario tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Severiano Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 42 minutes of play, Protestante's Guaberto Velasco made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Placido Cordario was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 46 minutes, Jacobo Osoro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dixonville FC and the Protestante players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cipriano Meder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacobo Osoro in the 49th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Guaberto Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Osoro in the 60th minute of play forced Protestante's goalkeeper Cipriano Meder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Severiano Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cordario having to interfere. Prospero Ralondo kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Severiano Gaitano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Placido Cordario having to interfere. After some careless play in the Protestante defense, Arnaldo Nuxila kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cipriano Meder. The Protestante fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cipriano Meder should have stopped the shot. Severiano Gaitano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Dixonville FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Victorino Jokin hit a great ball. Severiano Gaitano could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Placido Cordario made a huge save. The supporters of Protestante booed when Dixonville FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Prospero Ralondo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guaberto Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Severiano Gaitanos short, quick shot in the 86thth minute got Placido Cordario to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the match, Dixonville FC's goalkeeper Placido Cordario had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Severiano Gaitano. Protestante played a much better game than Dixonville FC and deserved their victory. The Dixonville FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
