Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leonel Rio took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some careless play in the Monigotes FC defense, Santos Iraitz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adan Veto. The Monigotes FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adan Veto should have stopped the shot. When Alfredo Luke fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monigotes FC's protests and gave Alfredo Luke a yellow card for diving instead. Santos Iraitz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Adan Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Leon Xeneize. An unexpected shot in the 20th minute by Baldomero Barbosa got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Monigotes FC's Leonel Rio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ruben Ruy. That made the score 1-2 after 21 minutes of play. If Leonel Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ruben Ruy made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baldomero Barbosa in the 28th minute. In the 28th minute, Marcelo Mannuel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes into the match, Rogelio Bermudo notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Monigotes FC's Adan Veto. Adan Veto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Santos Iraitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adan Veto having to interfere. Adan Veto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-3 became the score in the 44th minute when Baldomero Barbosa elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half Leon Xeneize were leading 2-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Monigotes FC's Leonel Rio got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adan Veto was a little too slow when Rogelio Bermudo got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 2-4. When Aristides Precioso fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Leon Xeneize's protests and gave Aristides Precioso a yellow card for diving instead. Aristides Precioso hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 75th minute, Leonel Rio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Monigotes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. Ruben Ruy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonel Rio, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. When Baldomero Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Monigotes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baldomero Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Ruben Ruy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonel Rio in the 81st minute of play. Leonel Rio struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Ruben Ruy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monigotes FC. Ruben Ruy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Barbosa's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In the 88th minute, Leonel Rio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 89 played minutes Leon Xeneize got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Mannuel. Baldomero Barbosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Leon Xeneize's Ruben Ruy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonel Rio in the 92nd minute of play. Leonel Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Ruy having to interfere. The Leon Xeneize players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Monigotes FC from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
