Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Trejos's Nicanor Bazil started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Claudio Rodriguez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 6th match minute, Pourtalé FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jairo Iturri to maneuver through the defense. In the 8th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pourtalé FC's goalkeeper Isidoro Jago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the game, Nicanor Bazil lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Isidoro Jago. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Rodriguez in the 29th minute of play forced Trejos's goalkeeper Godfredo Lordi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jairo Iturri recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Trejos's Nicanor Bazil got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rosendo Goyo in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Isidoro Jago, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Godfredo Lordi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. With a left leg Isidoro Jago saved Pourtalé FC from getting behind. After 64 minutes, Rosendo Goyo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trejos and the Pourtalé FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Trejos's Godfredo Lordi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Trejos from getting a goal against them. Rosendo Goyo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pourtalé FC's Claudio Rodriguez got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anastasio Ganix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Godfredo Lordi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Artizar's late challenge caught a Pourtalé FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camilo Artizar helped the player get up and apologised. Camilo Artizar kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. When Trejos's Rosendo Goyo in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pourtalé FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 85th minute, Rosendo Goyo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 92 minutes, Rosendo Goyo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trejos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rosendo Goyo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 95 played minutes, Trejos's Leo Hats shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Isidoro Jago came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Trejos reached it. Nicanor Bazil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
