Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Florencio Piarres made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Edgardo Bernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sobala Atletic Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Edgardo Bernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jimeno Santana breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 6th match minute, Sobala Atletic Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Virgilio Etxepare to maneuver through the defense. Omar Francesco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hipolito Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Platense's Florencio Piarres managed to work through Sobala Atletic Club's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Florencio Piarres dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Hipolito Gilesindo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florencio Piarres's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonathan Barros in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jimeno Santana saved Platense from getting behind. Hipolito Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florencio Piarres, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florencio Piarres in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hipolito Gilesindo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 0-1 became the score in the 29th minute when Jonathan Barros elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 38th minute Jonathan Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Edgardo Bernat left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sobala Atletic Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Platense's goalkeeper Jimeno Santana, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jonathan Barros was the one to do the kick off. Omar Francesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 57th minute, Leonides Salomone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62ndth minute of the game Jonathan Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Platense's Jimeno Santana was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 65 minutes, Remigio Demesio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sobala Atletic Club and the Platense players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th minute, Remigio Demesio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Jonathan Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jimeno Santana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Omar Francesco came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Platense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Omar Francesco couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Sobala Atletic Club's zone, Florencio Piarres stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hipolito Gilesindo came out of the goal and Florencio Piarres tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hipolito Gilesindo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florencio Piarres, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Florencio Piarres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Hipolito Gilesindo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgardo Bernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Chants of Sobala Atletic Club echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Platense had held the ball for most of the match.
