After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Teofilo Argenis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fanegas's supporters rose to their feet, but Teofilo Argenis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romulo Natanael breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Teofilo Argenis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Romulo Natanael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Ignacio Benino came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Romulo Natanael could save by the left post. Teofilo Argenis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Natanael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teofilo Argenis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teofilo Argenis in the 19th minute of play forced Club Náutico FC's goalkeeper Romulo Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ignacio Benino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ignacio Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Teofilo Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Natanael having to interfere. Romulo Natanael stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Teofilo Argenis's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Náutico FC's goalkeeper Romulo Natanael, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Romulo Natanael showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teofilo Argenis in the 32nd minute of the match. Teofilo Argenis struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Romulo Natanael didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fanegas. Ignacio Benino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Natanael having to interfere. Club Náutico FC's Romulo Natanael proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Club Náutico FC from getting a goal against them. 39 minutes into the game, Fanegas's Ignacio Benino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Romulo Natanael made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When Teofilo Argenis came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Fanegas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teofilo Argenis couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Club Náutico FC's Dionisio Boniel got a free kick in the 55th minute. When the match clock showed 57 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Ignacio Benino sped through Club Náutico FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Romulo Natanael. If Ignacio Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Laureano Orlondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Alfonso Lleir made a huge save. If Ignacio Benino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Club Náutico FC's zone, Ignacio Benino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Romulo Natanael came out of the goal and Ignacio Benino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ignacio Benino in the 70th minute of play forced Club Náutico FC's goalkeeper Romulo Natanael to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teofilo Argenis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romulo Natanael having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, Ignacio Benino notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Club Náutico FC's Romulo Natanael. Romulo Natanael was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Teofilo Argenis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Romulo Natanael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romulo Natanael made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelino Vito in the 81st minute of play. Fanegas's Angelino Vito got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute, Teofilo Argenis ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Romulo Natanael was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. If Teofilo Argenis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fanegas fully deserved thier win.
