Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ramiro Foro took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute of the match Gervasio Heriberto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Barea showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Ramiro Foro came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Esquina fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ramiro Foro couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Esquina's Felipe Harkaitz got control of the ball when Paulino Veremundo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Esquina fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 13th minute. Penalty! In the 14th minute there was a penalty for La Candela. Esteve Bermund stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Felipe Harkaitz. 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Paulino Veremundo managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Candela's supporters rose to their feet, but Paulino Veremundo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Felipe Harkaitz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulino Veremundo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Felipe Harkaitz made a huge save. With 27 minutes on the clock, Herminio Osorio commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Esquina! In the 31st minute, La Candela's Pascual Charro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascual Charro in the 35th minute of play forced Esquina's goalkeeper Felipe Harkaitz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th match minute, Esquina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elpidio Silviano to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Pascual Charro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felipe Harkaitz. That made the score 3-0 in the 37 minute of play. Felipe Harkaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Charro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Felipe Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

In the 54th minute, La Candela's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Emilio Gartzea fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. When La Candela's Pascual Charro in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esquina's goalie prevented a goal. Paulino Veremundo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felipe Harkaitz having to interfere. Gaudencio Jakes's late challenge caught a La Candela's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gaudencio Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. Paulino Veremundo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Esquina getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Pablo Palos hit a great ball. Paulino Veremundo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Felipe Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When La Candela's Paulino Veremundo in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Esquina's goalie prevented a goal. Pascual Charro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Felipe Harkaitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Paulino Veremundo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celestino Celio kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Emilio Gartzea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Esquina's supporters rose to their feet, but Emilio Gartzea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gaston Barea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Emilio Gartzea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 100th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
