Hilario Quentin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dalmacio Frisco in the 10th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Bruno Sagrario's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hilario Quentin was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Neild's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dalmacio Frisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dalmacio Frisco in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hilario Quentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 28 played minutes Neild got a freekick which was hit by Benito Rodas. If Dalmacio Frisco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bruno Sagrario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 40th minute Bruno Sagrario shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hilario Quentin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hilario Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Sagrario in the 41st minute of the match. Osvaldo Leobardo charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Osvaldo Leobardo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Neild's Bruno Sagrario got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bruno Sagrario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hilario Quentin having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Dalmacio Frisco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Rodas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hilario Quentin having to make a save. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Benito Rodas took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Hilario Quentin to make any attempt to save it. Osvaldo Leobardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the match, Resistencia AFC's goalkeeper Hilario Quentin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Frisco. Hilario Quentin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Txordon in the 80th minute of the match. The supporters of Resistencia AFC booed when Neild was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benito Rodas didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Resistencia AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Neild were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
