In the 22nd minute, Arnulfo Luar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes, Bengolea AFC's Froilan Ramos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Igor Adrio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Bengolea AFC reached it. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bengolea AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ruperto Mino was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores de Belgrano's players had a chance to rest. 28 minutes into the game, German Bernebe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Christian Uxio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Adrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amador Palben, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Sesuldo kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. Hector Bixintxo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Aquilino Diagur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Amador Palben made the kick off in the second half. If Amador Palben had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th match minute, Bengolea AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Palben to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Defensores de Belgrano booed when Bengolea AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Lain didn't get a good kick on the ball. German Bernebe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Uxio having to interfere. 3-0 became the score in the 77th minute when Hector Bixintxo elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Bengolea AFC's zone, German Bernebe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Uxio came out of the goal and German Bernebe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. German Bernebe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elvio Salomon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Christian Uxio having to make a save. German Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Defensores de Belgrano players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
