Martin Erroman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Sesuldo in the 5th minute of the match. Filomeno Isadore received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Martin Erroman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Libertad FC's Martin Erroman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Libertad FC from getting a goal against them. Danilo Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Maiorga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Danilo Maiorga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Filomeno Isadore sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Danilo Maiorga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Erroman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danilo Maiorga in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Erroman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Filomeno Isadore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. Martin Erroman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Maiorga went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hernan Sesuldo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Erroman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Danilo Maiorga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batel's supporters rose to their feet, but Danilo Maiorga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Erroman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 46 minutes into the match, Filomeno Isadore had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Martin Erroman. Libertad FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filomeno Isadore was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Vitin made a kick off. In the 55th minute Filomeno Isadore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Erroman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Erroman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danilo Maiorga went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. In the 69th minute, Danilo Maiorga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Batel fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Danilo Maiorga sped through Libertad FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Martin Erroman. Martin Erroman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Filomeno Isadore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Filomeno Isadore fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Erroman having to interfere. Batel's Danilo Maiorga got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Filomeno Isadore managed to get in a good position for a shot. Batel's supporters rose to their feet, but Filomeno Isadore was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Erroman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Danilo Maiorga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Danilo Maiorga came up free with the goalie in the 91st minute, the Batel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Maiorga couldn't finish the play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Libertad FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 93rd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Batel a penalty, 95 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gervasio Medina, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Libertad FC's Martin Erroman. 6-0. When Danilo Maiorga came up free with the goalie in the 101st minute, the Batel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Danilo Maiorga couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Batel fully deserved thier win.
